Ants
Ants: identification & ant control
Ant infestations rarely stop at the trail you can see. Our licensed technicians identify the species, locate satellite colonies, and use baits and non-repellent barriers that workers carry back to the queen — so the colony collapses instead of relocating.

How to identify ants
- What it looks like
- Small six-legged insects with elbowed antennae, a narrow waist and a distinct head, thorax and abdomen.

- Where you'll find it
- Kitchens, bathrooms, wall voids, mulch beds, sidewalk cracks and under slabs.

Ants questions homeowners ask
How do I identify the type of ant in my house?
Look at size, color, waist segments and whether swarmers are present. Tiny brown trailing ants are usually odorous house or pavement ants; large black ants near wood are typically carpenter ants.
Why do ants keep coming back after I spray?
Store-bought sprays kill foragers but not the queen, and repellent products can split a colony into several. Baiting the colony is what ends the infestation.
