Pantry & fabric pests: types, identification & control
These pests damage what they eat rather than bite people. Webbing in a cereal box means pantry moths, tiny beetles in flour are weevils, irregular holes in wool are clothes moths or carpet beetles, and grazed paper or wallpaper paste points to silverfish. Treatment is discarding infested material, deep cleaning and treating the harborage cracks.
