Cockroaches: types, identification & control
Cockroach species differ in size, color and where they hide, and that changes the treatment completely. German roaches are small, tan and breed indoors in kitchens; American roaches are large, reddish brown and come up from drains and sewers; Oriental roaches are glossy black and live in damp basements; brown-banded roaches hide high in warm rooms. Identify yours below, then see the baiting and exclusion plan for that species.
